For more than two decades, beauty expert and self-proclaimed self-care specialist Starla has been the go-to hair artist to the likes of Hollywood’s elite set including Cindy Crawford, Maria Shriver, Brooke Burke, Tiffany Panhilason, Little Kim, Heather Reissman, Diane Bold. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Starla, is a certified mat pilates instructor and a former indoor cycling coach at Equinox. The Playa Vista-based artist, who works at the Beauty Beach Lounge Salon at the Runway Playa Vista Mall, also recently earned a Masters in Spiritual Psychology. “I believe the act of self-care is vital to humanity and oneself,” says Starla, who has coined herself Playa Vista’s must-see self-care specialist. "Self-care promotes balance, well-being, wholeness, love, grace, and ease. It’s something we can all use more of. I want to support my clients in feeling beautiful, spiritually lifted, and liberated every time they’re in my chair.’
