Shay “Shy” Merchav was born in Israel and moved to the United States at the age of 4. She has lived in Los Angeles since 1999 and has had a strong passion for hair ever since childhood. She began her career with what she knows best, making people feel beautiful through creative hairstyling. Shay also landed her first job at the prestigious José Eber Atelier in Beverly Hills. She was trained by top stylist, Patrick Jagaille and has been behind the chair since 2003. Shay has had the chance to work with many A-list celebrities that she likes to keep private. She has completed extensive ongoing training to make continual progress in her career growth. Shay has built strong skills in cutting, blow-dry styling, Brazilian Blowouts, Brazilian Keratin Treatment, and is one of L.A.’s top hair extension specialist, offering all methods. She believes that everyone should leave the salon looking like they are going to a photo shoot, after all, we are in Los Angeles.
